Wow...the day's already over.
Oct. 7th, 2006 11:50 pmI wasn't on the computer almost at all today. Instead, I went through some merchandise. See, I'm doing two shows for myself with the new merchandise, and I realized after the show two weeks ago that I don't think I have enough merchandise for it.
So I'm scrounging around, sorting out old stuff, hoping to find more things to sell. I think it's worked. I've found a lot of stuff. Not enough to make me completely satisfied, but enough to make me think that it will work out just fine.
So I've been sorting stuff most of the day, along with the obligatory pack-boxes-for-eBay and visit-the-post-office errands. EBay was okay this week, but only okay. I ended up having to list things yesterday, which is not what I normally do, so I'm a bit nervous. I always think that no one will be home on Friday nights to bid, so we'll see how it works out. I'm pleased that within twelve hours there were already some bids.
Actually, most of them were from one customer. I wish I could hug her in person. Seriously, she rocks. She's really helpful to me. She bids early, and if anyone bids higher, she doesn't bother bidding again. It creates interest, and I never have to worry that she's overpaid. She lays the "base foundation" for more bidding.
I feel like I've accomplished something today, at the least. Not what I had hoped to overall, but still.
And I watched approximately six hours of the A*TEAM so it worked out in the end. hee!
