whee! The end is nigh

Have finished revising the Big Scene.

Now I'm working on the next Big Scene, which may or may not have naughty bits. hee! After that, there might be a linking scene or two, and then there is the last Big Scene, and then maybe a linking scene or two, and then the epilogue. (3k + 1-2k +3k +1-2k +2k, so approximately 10-12k more. Well, in theory.)

I'm already at 71k/page 197.

I AM SO EXCITED ABOUT FINISHING THE GIANT SCARY RIPTIDE FIC. eeeee!! I hope to finish another chunk of it this weekend.

Sadly, due to my schedule this month/next month, I can't start posting it until October 12th at the earliest. Still, that gives me a very reasonable deadline for finishing it. And I have a couple other fic ideas I'm bouncing around, and I need to finish the other future!fic.

GRAH GRAH GRAH

Long story short; a box of checks I had ordered disappeared in the mail. They apparently sent them to the old address, and somehow the forwarding didn't work. I went into the bank two weeks ago and they put stop payments on that box of checks and ordered new checks for me. I received the new checks last week.

I just logged into my account, and they have apparently stopped payment on all of the bills I just paid with the new checks. OMG NOES. NOES NOES NOES.

DO NOT WANT.

I will have to call tomorrow morning and get this sorted out, but DAMNIT, this is absolutely ridiculous.
