Sue Profile #10

[Recap: Some of you might remember that at one of the HP conventions, gmonkey42 and I put together a Snape and his Mary Sues presentation. In order to put the presentation together, we had to read a bunch of HP fanfics featuring Sues who were paired with Snape. The other night, I was scribbling notes on scrap paper, and realized that the paper in question was from a printout of the spreadsheet that we built to house the data. And then I started laughing at the quote, and I thought that we really should share the profiles because they're just too much fun not to.]

I'll be the first to admit that the last two weeks' Sues haven't been that interesting. But this one is a true Sue. Read on and weep.

various and sundry

Word wants me to change What about your other friends? to What about you're other friends?

Not making this up. Not doing it,either.

This has been a good weekend so far. The bare bones of the website are up, and I'm adding products. This means a total overhaul. See, for Etsy & eBay I take a new scan of every single lot I list, because people want to receive exactly what they see in the image. I can't just use one pic over and over again. And because the pic is up for only a short time, it's quickest (and easiest on my back) to just take scans of everything and run with it. However, for a website where you can order in quantity, nobody expects a new pic for every single item.

So because I'm only doing one pic for each website product, I want to do it right, and I've been taking camera pics instead of scans. Which meant a new and exciting learning process. So that's what I've been doing.

In between taking pics and C&Ping eBay text to the website (which also will have to be totally revised), I've been writing. I finished the Big Climactic Scene a couple weeks ago, and now I've just finished the first half of the Mini Climactic Scenes. So I'm seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. FINALLY. After being stuck in a sentence for three days, I got past it. I can't wait to finish this fic and start posting it. Riptide FTW. Though I can't imagine anyone will actually want to read it.

Also, I managed to completely restock my eBay store, and get a whole mess o' stuff ready to slowly list on Etsy. So this has been a mega-win weekend.

Plus, Husband and I went out on the boat together and Husband rowed me around the whole pond, which was quite fun. I have literally TONS of pics which I have not shared with you all, and I hope to remedy that soon. I took some of the coolest tree pics I've ever taken when I took the boys to Hartwick Pines, and I can't wait to show you them.

First, though, more website stuff. It's a good thing I'm a little OCD and ADD and I can concentrate on stuff I want to do for hours. hee!
