I love this thesaurus. I've never even heard of dandiprat. Dandy, certainly, that's a much more common word, but dandiprat? Whee!

I've always been fond of "jackanapes", but "man milliner" is now my new favourite.

Seeing "macaroni" there makes so much more sense of "he stuck a feather in his cap and called it macaroni". All these years I've been wondering (in a low-key way) what pasta had to do with it!
