I can feel the snow approaching Michigan. blergh.

Bought way too many articles of clothing at Lane Bryant again. I am not going near that store for at least five months. Unless I decide to buy socks, in which case I will wear blinders and just go straight for the socks without looking at--oooh, what's that?

I am almost caught up with the flist. Finally! Thank goodness. I really have to work on the Snupin Santa entry. I mapped out more scenes in my head. Now I need to view the materials I purchased to write the story, and I'll be ready. I am so totally geeked about this story.

I received a merchant statement today from Discover. I took in $19.40 on Discover cards during the month of October, and they charged me $0.10 to process it. And a $9.95 statement fee. *sigh*

I've lost an eBay item, and that makes me mental. Must sort that out.

In short, I'm feeling more and more stressed. I need to write! I want to write! Tomorrow I will try to make some headway.

I was so hoping to sign up for the Romancing challenge, but I just don't think I commit to it. :( I'm so behind!

Well, we are doing drabbles again for the holiday challenge in December, so you can easily write a few of them. :)

Sorry general consumer annoyance is making you nuts. I know what you mean about stores just... sucking you in!

I wish you good luck with writing... And better and less stressful days soon. :-)

Normally I'm able to resist a lot of things. I'm not a very good consumer, honestly.

Except...aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa...Lane Bryant is so eeeevil. So delicious. And they had lovely jeans, which is the key to my downfall.

And thank you so much for the kind words! You're always so sweet and solicitous. *hugs*

I had to look up solicitous, you know. I was like... I'm offering her cigarettes? ;-)

oooo clothes shopping. I'm not up for that yet since surgery. Hope you bought some good stuff. I was watching clothes today on QVC but nothing I saw grabbed me so I was bummed. I was hoping for some small bit of retail therapy.

And yes, you need to write. Grin. So do I, but my brain is fuzzy. Not fan fic though, a poem is making my skull vibrate but it hasn't quite fallen out onto paper yet.

I'm very very glad that you came through the surgery so successfully, btw! I have my fingers crossed that you will recover quickly.

I bought three pairs of jeans...honestly, I can't even fit any more in my armoire. I'm mental.

Thanks so much. I feel like I improve some then back slide, then improve and so on, but I'm getting there.

Three more pairs? I hope they are not all the same? Grin. I want more jeans but can't find my favorite pair again, they are so comfortable. Right now I'm living basically in pajamas though.

Oh! Lane Bryant is having that big sale this weekend where with the coupon you get 40% off your purchase, aren't they? Wonder if I'll have time tomorrow to get up there.

Yep! That's what I took advantage of. It was quite nice, but I normally get 33% off by using their $75 --> save $25 coupon, AND normally a lot of their clothing is discounted...and nothing was discounted this time, so I just saved the 40% and nothing else.

I used to really make out like a bandit with those coupons. I used to wait for sales, and use it on clearance items.

Now you can't use it on clearance items or "perfectly priced" items, and I really don't like to wait, because my size sells out sometimes, especially for the cool stuff.

Those last two months of the year are crazy, aren't they? It's this feeling of rushing towards Christmas and towards the end of the year, that gives me the impression that I have to finish everything I've started in that year. Which is stupid, and I know it, but I feel rushed and overworked nevertheless.

I wish you strength to overcome the stress! And if I could, I would send you some time to write, but all I can send you is an internet hug. :-)

*hugs*

That sunflower is fabulous! I lurve sunflowers.

I often have this feeling of pressure when I come back from a trip. I feel like I have all of these things to catch up on. Not just the flist, but all of the things I have to do in general. Write, craft, pay bills...everything always gets shoved to the side when I leave, so sometimes when I come back, the pressure doesn't show up until after a few days have passed. I'm really feeling it right now.

It kind of develops into a mantra of unease that I dip into every so often, that makes me a little more crazy than I already am.

Must pay sales tax tonight. Must pay sales tax tonight...

Coming back to things undone is horrible, with capital H. I hate it, and yet am never able to avoid it these days.

I spent my afternoon with a friend on project planning. Now I hope that if I will be able to get my pressures better organised, I will also be able to get ahead of them.

Sunflowers are love and energy. They really seem to be consistent of beams - I love that so much!
