I offer a diversion, if you are bored.

1. When did you first "friend" me?
2. Why did you first "friend" me?
3. What posts of mine do you like to read the best?
4. What would you like me to write about that I don't?
5. Do you think we would be friends in real life?
6. How often do you read my journal?
7. What do we have in common?
8. Will you post this in your journal so I can answer it?
9. Do I actually resemble any HP character in your eyes?

One of the coolest things about LJ is finding people 10,000 miles away who somehow share the same interests.

When I saw you sporking recently on [livejournal.com profile] deleterius I said, a-ha! Yet another common interest.

I'm glad I friended you, and it's nice to be able to compare notes about reviews and such.

Hahaha, yes I am somewhat addicted to [livejournal.com profile] deleterius. Mind you, I don't know if I'll ever spork anything again - that fic set the bar very high as far as badness goes. I find it hard to imagine I'd be able to find anything that atrocious again.

You know, before I got into fanfic and especially LJ, I knew maybe 2 people overseas. Both of them were RL friends who had moved. Now I know people from all over the place, and - surprise! - they're not that different to me. And it's great because I'd never know them in RL, but with LJ and the wonderful internet, I can "talk" to them and share ideas.

LJ is definitely a great way to move people. I've been very impressed with the simple idea of LJ and how interestingly it has developed, with its own set of manners. It's easy to find people who share your interests. I'm not surprised that LJ has developed into such a great fandom tool.
