This has not been a good week.

I finally got ahold of one of the stores hosting a trunk show for me. I've been calling them for a week, wondering why I hadn't heard from them.

Turns out their store burned down.

Tried to talk to the woman at that other store, where I really, really, really want to do a show, and somehow missed her twice by mere inches.

I went into work today to the day job, and they piled tons of work on me, and now I have to go in tomorrow too, which was to be my last "huzzah" of time to myself before I leave for two months.

All in all, I'm hoping that I get to rest on Saturday (well, before I start loading for the show on Sunday). I've gone to bed before 11 two nights in a row. That can't be good.

I'm sorry to hear of your problems. What is a trunk show by the way? I'm English and don't know the term.

Basically, it's when you are a merchant and you bring merchandise into a store, set up inside of the store for a day or two, and sell.

:) It is an inauspicious omen, isn't it? I hope that the rest of the trip isn't plagued with bad luck.
