This has not been a good week.

I finally got ahold of one of the stores hosting a trunk show for me. I've been calling them for a week, wondering why I hadn't heard from them.

Turns out their store burned down.

Tried to talk to the woman at that other store, where I really, really, really want to do a show, and somehow missed her twice by mere inches.

I went into work today to the day job, and they piled tons of work on me, and now I have to go in tomorrow too, which was to be my last "huzzah" of time to myself before I leave for two months.

All in all, I'm hoping that I get to rest on Saturday (well, before I start loading for the show on Sunday). I've gone to bed before 11 two nights in a row. That can't be good.

Oh dear, what a hassle! How horrible is it that the shop burned down!

I really hope that things will still work out fine for you. The whole risk taking of these trips, financially and mentally; there has to be some reward for you!

This trip is the biggest risk of them all, and it's such a huge expense that I cringe just thinking about it. I am very much hoping that it pays off in the end.
