I have just arrived at 666 Ninth Circle of Hell St, which is apparently populated only with cats and satan_black, er, [livejournal.com profile] julian_black. As she always says, her hair hides the horns, and I've attempted to sneak a peek at her feet to see if she has cloven hooves, but so far she has not removed her shoes.

Hell contains a lot of fur. Just sayin'. Her Infernal Majesty had to empty the Dyson twice while vacuuming just one area rug.

Also, new tires to the tune of $568. Yep. By the time I get back I'll have nothing original on the car except the steering wheel. *sigh*

More later, once Julian and I break out the tequila.

My god, your poor car! I mean, poor you for dealing with said car! :(

I think your car is hexed. You should see while you're there in Hell, if [livejournal.com profile] julian_black knows someone who can remove that hex. Maybe it just needs a good finite incantatum.

I still love you even if you drive a hexed car. But if you ever come down this way and we go anywhere, we're taking my mom-van.

And you'll be home soon! Eeeee!

I drove from Sacramento to southern Oregon, and let me tell you, having bald tires and driving through a mountain pass and a blizzard at the same time is pretty taxing. I was afraid to go much further with them in their condition, and I knew I had another mountain pass to deal with, so I just stopped at a tire store and had them changed there in southern OR. wah!

I will see if Julian or one of her infernal furry imps can remove it. I hope so, because I'm really starting to wonder if I'll get home in one piece!

I would be happy to go anywhere in the mom-van if it meant not driving on mountain passes or through blizzards or tornadoes.

It's one of those small SUVs, kind of an overgrown car, and it's a domestic. :)

I'm glad you're, er, taking part in a Satanic tequila ritual to remove excess cat hair having fun? ;-) Good to know you're doing well (even if your car isn't happy :-P). *lots of hugs*

hee! Yes, I'm happy to be in the lovely ninth circle. And, as advertised, it is rather cold here! Thank goodness for comfy warm beds.

Wasn't it nice to drive through the mountains on brand new tires as you made your way north?

I really enjoyed meeting you and the time we spent together, brief as it was. It was a pleasure hosting you both at the shop and here at my house. Oh, and it only took me three days and ten minutes to finally make the bed. Three days to get to it and ten minutes to do it.

ciao for now~
C of DB and >^..^< who looked for you after you'd left.

Here's my site:: Boho Rap. (http://bohorap.blogspot.com) You caused me to resurrect it!

OMG!!!

You got a LJ! Hooray!! *throws confetti* *friends* I love your icon!

I tried leaving a message at your store, but no answering machine came on, and then yesterday I was thinking, hey, I should call her, but again, it was a Monday!

The tires are great. They installed them on my car in record time, it was incredible! Actually, I almost came back to find out if you wanted to have lunch, but then I thought it might be weird if I just started knocking on your door again, and I would have rather called first, but I only had the store number. Heh.

Will bookmark your blog when I get back, so that I can say hi! ;)

Thank you so very much for your many kindnesses! I was actually going to write an entry about it when I sum up the whole trip back in MI, about finding unexpected help, and what a wonderful feeling that is. I was really floored, and totally touched. And you're so much fun, and so interesting! And so is your adorable cat.

*giant hugs*

It wouldn't have been weird at all if you'd knocked after your time at the tire center. I would have completely enjoyed spending more time with you, but you had many miles to drive and daylight was burning.

The LJ account is just so I can post here with a cute icon. That sweet face is none other than the little guy who wondered where you'd gotten off to. I took it with my first digital camera then cartooned the heck out of it! Isn't he just such a handsome rascal?

I used to have an answering machine at the shop, but I got to the point that I really disliked responding to messages, so I disconnected it. Hmm, like my old blog, maybe I'll resurrect it too! Did you like the template? Totally my own design! Somedays I think I'd rather tweak templates than type words. I know, not something you tell a writer. I look at it this way...I'm writing code, so that ought to count for something!

Hooray, that your experience with the tire guys was a good one! I had no doubts they wouldn't take good care of you. Think of it this way...Jeri's sale covered your new tires and dinner.

Have fun in Seattle. I can hardly wait to read your overview of your two month excursion. Which adventure will you start with?

ciao bella~
Harlekwin and >^..^< the beautiful icon boy.
