I love LJ for many reasons, and one of the biggest is that we became friends because of it.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JULIAN!!

You rock like a rocking thing, you are amazing, hilarious, and you even let me stay in your house and pet all (okay, nearly all) of your cats. You float like a butterfly and sting like a bee. You are wry, dry, and you let sleeping cats lie. When I'm out and about and I see someone who looks like you, I get inordinately excited for a moment before I remember that it can't possibly be you, and then I get all sad.

Seriously. I'm that dorky.

I know this is all kinds of rambling, but I just can't help it. I enjoy hanging out with you so much. Who else would share figgy duck goose fat with me? Who else would be so excited about eating the liquid chocolate at the center of a soufflé? Who else would wander around a cemetery for hours without a guide? Thank you again and again for all of the experiences.

I'm so chuffed that we're friends. And you'd better not be joking about laughing about the Hurricane Daiquri Disaster Incident fifty years from now, because I'm holding you to it! *grin*
