attack of the blerghering blerghs
Sep. 24th, 2007 11:13 pmWanted to friend someone on LJ, and was too lazy to look up their LJ, so I just went to
iibnf's userpage and found her there. Because everyone is there, right? Don't laugh--it hasn't failed me yet.
Am blerghing about. Today was a day of Increased Chocolate Intake. We all know what that means.
Well, LJ, I've done it. I opened Xenosaga II yesterday. And I put it in the Playstation 2. And damnit. It's awesome. I adored Xenosaga, and I knew that this would be Even Crackier, and, well, it is. I forsee a marked decrease in posting activity for me in the near future.
Melodramatic!worn-out metahumans! Earnest little girl androids! Insane giggling villains! Mechas! Extra-complicated battles! Bizarre religious undertones! A near-emotionless girl robot who kicks ass! I adore it.
And I was making such progress in my life, too. (That is, until I tried ordering mannequins from a company that is about an hour away from my apartment. They sent one correct mannequin, and one incorrect. I paid $9 shipping so I wouldn't have to drive two hours, and now I'll probably have to drive there to exchange it, or pay more shipping. It was their mistake, so I hope they correct it, but I'm not holding my breath.)
At least this game has huge long cut-scenes...some of them last twenty minutes, no lie. So I'm crafting during the cut-scenes because they actually have voice talent doing all of the lines so I don't even have to read or hit buttons--I just listen while I craft. So I can pretend I'm getting something done. heh.
