Drabble: SS/NM
Dec. 23rd, 2007 11:07 pmAlas, the fun has ended at
romancingwizard. Their annual Holiday Drabble Challenge (full listing of drabbles here) inspired many het drabbles.
I have to say, it's an incredibly well-run challenge. Such attention to detail, and you just know that a heckuva lot of time is invested into moderating this challenge--there are lots of entries. Just thinking about coding the list of participants/entries makes me break out into hives. Thank goodness
seaislewitch and her fellow Romancers are such good sports about it!
Here's mine:
Wizard/Witch: Severus Snape/Narcissa Malfoy
Rating/Warnings: PG-13/R
Prompt: Wandlight
"Lumos." The light from his wand spilled across her face, illuminating her perfect cheekbones, the sensual fall of her ice-blonde hair, and her lips, as red as a poisoned apple. Her robes caught the dim glow, amplifying it, thousands of brilliant crystals sparkling, mesmerizing him.
"I am free, but only for a moment," she said breathlessly. "He will suspect if I'm away too long."
Her frigid demeanor, her cold eyes--but he knew there was a fire within, black-sparked, taut, a flame to make even the most resolute man break upon her altar.
The wand fell to the ground, forgotten.
