I had an anxiety-convention dream this morning. I dreamt that I went to a con, and I was just wandering around, and I couldn't find anyone to talk to, and then when I found that there was a round table going on, I sat down at it and people looked unhappy that I was sitting down. And then a couple people did say something to me, but I couldn't hear them and had to ask them to repeat it multiple times, and when I finally understood what they were saying it made no sense at all.

There was a girl there who was a RL friend--someone I haven't talked to in a long time (I suspect that she is annoyed with me in some way), and she wasn't happy to see me. I kept mentioning how it was the last day of college for me, and people gave reluctant congratulations.

I looked up and realized that we were in the mall I used to work at; in fact, we were right in front of the Waldenhell I used to work at. There was some bizarre subplot involving this artist guy who sat in my lap.

As I was leaving, I realized that I'd forgotten to take notes and couldn't remember almost anything that happened at the con. "That's it," I said to myself. "I must not care about HP fandom any longer. What a shame."

Then I went out in the parking lot, and I found boxes next to my car and I tried to put them in my car but they only barely fit. And then I realized that I was supposed to go pick up gmonkey42 from the airport, and I felt awful, because the con was over, and she'd never get to see any of it.

midnitemaraud_r was involved somehow as well, but I can't remember how.

At least there was no stage and bucket of pig's blood, lol.

I had a dream about failing to pick up people at the airport too! In mine, I realized it was time to leave, but when I got to my car I looked at my watch again and I was two hours late. And then I got in the car and looked at my watch again and it was an hour later. And then I was driving but I had to pee really badly. Then I woke up and I really did have to pee. Spoooky.

I was in Portland last year, and there was this performance art group who dressed as clowns and made all sorts of strange bicycles and stuff. I'm still thinking, why clowns?
