I stayed home from the show.

I went out and had a burger and then went to see Prince Caspian, which was quite enjoyable.

And then I came home and saw my to-do list. Needless to say, I'm not excited about leaving--I have waaay too much on my plate right now. And the trip will be the Most Stressful Show, so this is even more unhappy-inducing.

I also had the guiltmonster clawing at me all day, saying, "You could have been at that show! You might have made some money!"

And yet I've squandered this day. Which wouldn't be bad, except--I've squandered a lot of days.

Meh, meh, meh.

Still, I saw a movie! And chatted with [livejournal.com profile] subrosax. And now I'm sleepy.

I am encouraged by what I am hearing about the new Narnia movie. One of the LOTR fen told me that she thought it was better than the first one. (Of course I have to admit that I never got farther than page 3 of the books. I could not stand the patronizing tone that just screamed "didactic literature for children.")

I did like PC better than LWW. For some reason, it seemed more adult, and the pace didn't feel quite so hurried, but it could also be because I couldn't remember the book almost at all.
