until I realized that the only states I haven't visited are Alaska, Maine, Vermont, and New Hampshire.

Seems a waste to generate a big red map just for that.

In other news, the dogs upstairs (little yappy things) will NOT STOP BARKING. Two hours straight. The kind of panicky-someone's-near-the-window barking that makes me crazy.

Their owner is a nurse who is gone for twelve hour shifts, so there is not likely to be a cease fire until tonight when she gets home after midnight.

Yippie dogs have no place in my life. Have you tried ear plugs??

So...when you've got free time, gonna go and visit Desmond, Pandora, Valis and Logan? ;) Miss them. Miss the crack!fic. Have missed you.

I'm so glad you're back!

::hugs::

And here's some motivation on the Desmond front. Hee!

I hate ear plugs, but at this point, I'm not certain what else to do.

I rarely play music at home because I don't want to disturb other people, but this is driving me to distraction, and I just might have to go ahead and play some Disturbed or something.

And I totally want to write more crack!fic! I will, and soon, I promise.

*giant hugs*

And thank you for the delicious Ian interlude. MMMM.

Some states I've only driven through. Delaware is one of those--I think I drove through the tippy top of it on the way to something else.

Don't tempt me. Seriously.

At this point, the lawn guys are here, and it's a toss-up as to which will drive me insane first.

I really would like to see Maine--I've heard so much about it!

And your icon is making me think, "You are not Ganesh! Ganesh is graceful!"

Contact the landlord about the dogs. You're not paying rent to be kept awake by some other lazy tenant's dogs. If you're rarely going to be home, then why have dogs?

It's a shame, because the girl is really super-nice. When she first moved in, she had one dog, a very sweet older dog who rarely barked. But then she bought a Schnauzer puppy, and since then, the puppy has gradually been barking more and more and is now inciting the older dog to bark, too. I can't believe they're not hoarse by the end of the day, honestly. It's rather amazing how much they can sustain.

That's cruel, to rarely be home and have a schnauzer. They are wonderful, smart dogs but very high-energy, and they need lots of 1) attention 2) outside time and exercise, or they're pretty intolerable.

It's still going on as I type this. She seems to be away for twelve hour shifts, and when she gets home, the dogs explode into the most incredible barking I've ever heard.

The schnauzer is adorable, but very high-energy, you're totally right. And she's still in the puppy stages (well, late puppy stages), so she's a ball of fire.

If she's nice then she will buy an anti-barking collar for the small dog and hopefully the older dog won't bark if the little dog stops. Seriously...you were there before her and it's not fair for you to have to listen to barking dogs all day long. Most cities have ordinances against it.

She probably bought the schnauzer to keep the other dog company. :P

I'm definitely going to talk to her--I don't want to go to bed with a headache every night!

Plus, as you know, I work from home, which makes it even more irritating. :(
