You got Tuxedo!Snape LOL. He's not very happy about it, he was looking for Hermione. Padfoot and Sonia!Lupin are both my roomates at the con. It was pure effing luck that the costumes were so complementary between them. I hope they don't goad me into do Sirius Black, non dog version.

Actually BrewingTrouble did 'nightshirt' Snape long ago, and so I was copying her. I'm sure you can do better, as mine was just 'fluff' as I had the nightshirt already.

I visited Sectus last year, which was great fun; but I haven't heard from another con in Europe so far.

A friend mentioned Azkatraz - but flying to the States just for four days seems such an expensive trip. And to make it a holiday would be even more expensive.

It's a pity the Lupin costume didn't photograph better! I loved that one, but it amazes me how much more the makeup shows in a pic. Something about the lighting, I suppose.

I am always tremendously geeked when I see people dressed as Lupin--it so rarely happens! And you're right, the costume was better in person.
