I don't want to jinx this, but I think...the plague might be done with me.

I am not feeling perfect, but I am definitely feeling better.

I watched Tron today on G4, and even though I haven't seen it in ages, that movie is burned on my brain and I just knew on some deep fundamental level that sections had been cut out. And I must say that I have a deep and abiding awe for Sark. Even now. And Flynn is still the coolest ever. My girlish heart beat in glee. My modern heart, however, was quite entranced with the rampant slashiness which I had never noticed before, lol. Makes me want to search for fanfic. And you can't tell me that no one capitalized on the fact that one of the characters is named Ram...

I also watched two hours of a Battlestar Galactica episode (classic) which you can see on NBC online. I remember the episode because it made a big impression on me, and I went searching for it and found it thanks to Wikipedia's list of episodes. I didn't realize there were so few!

I have to admit, I spent two hours watching it so I could see five minutes of Dirk Benedict h/c. *snort* I'm serious. And it took three hours to watch because my damned internet connection has been acting up recently. The episode was called, "Greetings from Earth" and featured Ray Bolger as an android. It also starred one of my other most favorite seventies crushes, the delicious Randolph Mantooth, who ends up yelling "What?!!" rather loudly at least twice. Also, there were villains who wore perfectly round helmets like Spaceballs. So all in all, win.

I watched the entire run of the original series about a year ago. It was a real hoot. It was "made for it's time".

And I picked up the 20th anniversary set of Tron but haven't gotten around to watching it yet...

I definitely want to watch the special edition of Tron--I was hearing about some deleted scenes and I really am in love with the movie, mostly for reasons of nostalgia, I'll admit.

I've been meaning to watch the original BSG for so long but haven't gotten around to it yet. :( Do you watch the reimagined series at all?

Husband is very into the reimagined series, which he says is awesome, but I have not dipped my toe in--I totally know what will happen if I do, and I'm determined to stay away, at least for a little while. ;)

The original is totally cheese, but there are these tight pants and low belts and delicious jackets and hunky men so I just. can't. stop.
