My favorite set of Knight Rider summaries yet.

• Michael Knight and KITT must join forces with Thomas Cole and team VIPER, to defeat the greatest foes of the Knight Rider universe. Uh...who, exactly, are their "greatest foes"? Scrapyard Man? Clogged Air Intake Boy? Rusto?


• [Michael:] "It was terrifying. He turned all your power, your strength, everything you are against me. Clinging on to the car for dear life, having it throw me into that snack stand, pretending to be dead in case it came back to finish the job…." NOES! Not a SNACK STAND! *gnashes teeth*


• hahaha! KITT sulks because Michael takes off the wristwatch/commlink that allows them to communicate and lets some girl wear it.


• Kitt stroked the amber essence that was his partner, his life. There are a lot of bonding fics here, all of them with this basic premise of sensing each other's consciousness and communicating with the minds. Clearly the commlink/watch bit in the show has morphed into something deeper in fanfic.


• I feel like I should know who Nick and KARR are, but I'm drawing a blank every time.


• Old & New fiction is encouraged to be posted, making it easy for any person new to the Knight Rider Fandom to find fiction to read! Oh, believe me, finding fic in this fandom is not difficult at all.


• I'm not sure whether I like this fic, but if asked, I may continue with the next section.. I dunno...


• Reaching out, he put his hand on the flawless hood and spread his fingers over the warm, black skin. Is it me, or should Barry White be playing right now?


• From an author's note: Those who know, will understand. Those who don't know, don't need to understand. Er. I think I'm in the latter category.


• I'm amazed at how many fics put KITT into a human body and then slash him with Michael. *is intrigued*


• Michael interrupted him, edgy and with good cause, "where's Kitt?" "He's still there. He's taken some slight damage but he's fine." "He's not fine, believe me. He's like… fire in my head."


• Kitt felt himself hoisted up off the ground. He hated that feeling. Time for your yearly exam, KITT. Now turn your head and cough.

I think Nick and KARR are further entries in the "evil twin with a goatee" cliche. Well, Nick had the goatee, not KARR. That would have been kinda funny, actually.

Clearly the commlink/watch bit in the show has morphed into something deeper in fanfic.

I love this - when you first start reading in a new fandom and you find out which bits of canon have been seized upon by the fevered fannish brains...

Clearly they made an impression on fandom--there are SO many of these fics! Maybe it's the equivalent of Blaise in HP, who was so popular even though so little was mentioned...
