Another Husband conversation

Earlier this evening we were getting in the car because we were going out to meet my sister for dinner, and we had this conversation:

Valis: You realize that I'm going to talk about TV shows and deinterlacing the entire trip there.
Husband: Yes. For the rest of my life.
Valis: *puzzled* But I won't be obsessed with deinterlacing for that long.
Husband: It doesn't matter if it's deinterlacing or the exact ingredients in a SkeleGro Potion. It will be for the rest of my life.
Valis: *laughs like an idjit*

He really is a sweetheart. We have our moments, of course, but overall he's pretty damned wonderful.

Absolutely. I once spent an entire day trying to work out a single ingredient for a potion in tLS...lol.

because it has to work. it has to WORK. it has to follow existing rules of alchemyandherbologyandminerologyandchemistry, and when you feed it to your unsuspecting neighbor, it can't make their limbs fall off or give them a third nostril or-
