Only [livejournal.com profile] reddwarfer will laugh at the subject line, but still, it fit.

The insomnia is not stopping. Also, because Husband is the sweetest thing on earth, he picked his dad up from the airport very late last night/early this morning, so he did not get home until 2:30 am, so I did not fall asleep until 3:30 am.

And I am still having digestive issues from the Evil Lukewarm Seafood Soup of Dhûm that I consumed on Thursday.

And eBay has reached a new level of suck and fail.

I also am in the midst of working near-normal-human-working-hours at the day job, and I am not excited about the next few days, because I will be a zombie and blergh.

I broke out the long underwear and the fuzzy socks today. Yes, it seems like that time of year is here.

My current obsession will not let me breathe. I cannot stop thinking about it. I have an apartment to pack and move and clean, and a house to pack and clean, and my brain is in high obsessive gear and will not let go. grah!

In other news, Husband asked me if I wanted a brownie. I said no. He came in later with a brownie for himself and offered a "schniblet" (very small piece) of a brownie to me. You know what this means, don't you? He's lived with me too long.

Insomnia is evil and must be stopped. I've been on a crapload of different meds for it, but I like Lunesta. I did the Ambien thing and it was all good until I slept drove in my car and had an accident and was arrested for DUI and then the charges were dropped. No shit. This happened in June. I still don't remember a damned thing about the incident. I couldn't tell you what happened if you paid me.

So...Lunesta is good...lol.

Seriously, I'm surprised the FDA hasn't pulled Ambien. I researched all sorts of incidents people have had and it's crazy: starting fires, sleeping with strangers etc. Nutty!

Wow. Ambien is so scary--I've also heard some stories. I'm always wary of sleep meds--I don't want to get to the point where I have to take them, you know? And I don't want to be blerghy in the morning, either. The sad fact is, the times I really really need to take something are the times when I don't even have eight hours of sleep possible--more like five or six.

I'm never groggy in the morning with Lunesta, no matter when I take it. One caveat: the first few days you take it, there's a horrible taste in your mouth that a bomb can't explode away. Seriously. Just blergh. But I love it.

Also? Xanax is good to sleep with the no groggy. I used to take it for my OCD but now I'm on Klonopin...which works just as well and is less addictive (so says my doctor).

No shit Ambien is scary. I took it for years without an incident then wham! $2500 later? Charges dropped. But damn, I was scared to death. I've never been arrested! Not that I remember it or anything...lol.

"Schniblet" is one of the words that was used as a replacement so often that it has just become a word of its own. hee!!

And thank you for the consolation, you are awesome. *hugs*
