I know that a few of you were interested, and I apologize to everyone about how the entries were spaced when I originally posted them--I just didn't have enough time to space them out as I would have liked. Anyway, there you go.
Garage sale of doom is coming up. Can I just say that I am thrilled, and absolutely terrified?
This is going to be a busy month. I've been sorting merchandise like crazy, and doing a revamp of my eBay store, and I'm just completely pressed for time. For once, I know what I have to get done, and I'm just trying to go forward and do it. Plus, I have a show to do for my WI friends, and I have a show in my parents' little town, and a show in OH. eee! There are not enough hours in the day.
From FOAF, I've received a lovely set of Magnificent 7 h/c recs. I'm really intrigued by this fandom. Especially in this AU ATF world. More on that later.

Anyway, if you do it's a faboo story and totally what tipped me over the edge into *adoring* ATF.

Date: 2009-07-01 08:30 pm (UTC)See, that's what I find so totally incredible. I'm completely fascinated by this! I mean, there are a few universes in HP that people play with, but nothing like this--I'm so interested in how it came about.
And yep, explicit slash is just dandy. And I'm very into the story, though I can't help that I like Chris to be the h/c recipient, lol.
If you have any other recs, please sound off! I'd love to read more Chris h/c stuff.

Date: 2009-07-01 09:03 pm (UTC)Oh, I said *exactly* the same thing. Exactly. And I said I'd never write Old West because historical fandoms are a pain in the ass (they really *are*) and I didn't need that kind of aggravation. That lasted until I watched the second episode.
And VERY quickly it became *totally* the fandom of my heart because it's just *that* awesome. And the guys are just *that* fine. And Chris and Vin together are just ::swoons and sighs::. :D
Despite my adoration of ATF I've only written the one story in it (the Riptide crossover which I'm pretty sure you read). But OMG I get the little thrill of fannish convergence whenever *any* ATF agent appears in any other show I'm watching. :D
(Oh, did you find the Ur-story in the ATF fandom, MOG's "A Birthday In the Present"? That has a hurt Chris and is the story that started the whole AU.)

It's a very weird combo of things that makes me want to write, and it's only ever gelled in three fandoms, despite me reading several more than that.
Still, never say never...

And I'm *not* going to get caught up in another plot until I'm done with Homecoming, so I'm just going to make one wee little note in reminder here. And then, when you see me post the mighty capslock squee that Homecoming is done you can comment (if you like) and remind me of this:

Hmm. So far, I don't think any of them are Chris/Vin. One of them is Aftermath (http://dnf.slashcity.org/viewstory.php?sid=324), which is friggin' huge, but is helpful about supplying me with Who All Of These Hot Guys Are. I'm sure you know the author of that, BMP (http://dnf.slashcity.org/viewuser.php?uid=59), and the other recs are for more of their stories. I think they're all gen.
The other author recommended was KETanner, on the Chris/Vin archive. I don't have the link in front of me, but you probably know that author already, too. ;)
