10-1-09: I woke up to see the most incredible fog, thick and ghosting over the pond. The camera did not fare well with my attempt to capture it, unfortunately.





10-11-09: However, this morning--wow. Frost, and fall foliage, and a light dusting of fog. The early touch of sun.

Really? Wow! I thought they were a bit murky.

You know, I am really starting to worry about my monitor. I think it's really too dark. And if I scroll down, everything lightens toward the bottom.

I wouldn't have used the word murky, but then this lake photo is one my favorite pictures that I've ever taken, so obviously I like shadows. (Still waiting for the thunderheads over the pond. Fingers crossed.:) The dark and the fog is just lovely. And then the bright colored on is this big splashy surprise.

Okay, by breaking it out into its own thread, I see it. Very nice!

Yeah, something is going on with this thing. It's either the monitor, or the new graphics card. Must investigate.

Oh! And I tried taking a pic of the clouds of a thunderstorm--but it just didn't work out well. See, the pond kind of faces northeast, and the storms come from the west, so the only kind of thunderstorm pic would be a storm in the process or a leaving storm, which is hard to capture.

Then again, maybe the storm pic did work, but my monitor made it look bad. hmm. Will have to investigate...
