The unrequired late night entry

Today was so very nice. I prepped tons of stuff for Etsy, so I have two weeks' worth of items, I think. Also, a couple months ago I split my Etsy store between my crafted items and my resale craft supplies, and I finally listed a crafted item today, with the idea that I will be listing one every day for the next three months. I am really committing myself to this. Er, I'm trying, at the very least.

I only managed 900 words on the GSRF, but I finally finished the penultimate scene. All that's left is the teeny epilogue, which I've written in my head...oh...at least a dozen times, so it shouldn't be a problem. I'm hoping to finish it tomorrow night. Funny thing is, Husband and I were betting how long the GSRF would be, and oddmonster got in on the action and predicted it would hit 100k, and I laughed like an idjit and said, no, no way, maybe 35k, and...well, let's just say that I haven't written the epilogue yet and I'm at 94.5k already. So she was completely right. You win the bet, my friend!

I've already posted the first two sections of the GSRF, and I've prepped the next three sections. I'm sooo interested in the reactions, let me tell you. Except I think I might have traumatized someone with some intense stuff in section two, and now I feel really guilty.

And rereading the early sections of the GSRF is making me kind of happy, though it kind of...um...points out my Freudian slip a little more than normal. That's okay. Wait till I start the Gratuitous Nick H/C Series. I will be running the Freudian slip up the flagpole with that one. no lie.

Laundry is finished, I did a teensy bit of decluttering, and the Giant Scary Doll is shipped! Huzzah! It's gone. I'm so relieved. It isn't staring at me from under the table any longer.

well, I was prepared to a scary fic- eventually Nick centered- but I was shocked, that he was victim of the serial killer-yes it really shocked me, but it is written so intense, so captivating -wow and I am sure, you would never let Nick die!!! But I expect that he has to suffer a little more- I am prepared and btw- I do not sleep well on normal days--and at the moment my life is everything but not normal- so please go on and share your talent--i am looking forward to the next sections.

You know, I've been meening to ask, one Crafter to another, what kind of stuff do you make/sell? I've never seen yer Etsy or Ebay accounts, though I'd love to see some of your stuff. Last show I did was...eep, probably four years ago now! Too exausting, I don't know how you manage to do so many, and still work part time and keep up with the hubby!

I usually don't give out a link in my LJ, because it's not just my privacy I'm protecting, it's also my friends' privacy (I rep for them, and too many details would reveal who they are and stuff like their performance at shows). So I generally never tell publicly. Plus, I don't want my crafting linked in any way to my writing...hee!

I totaly get that, I only ever did shows under my legal name, usualy because I was manning the Guild booth part time, or shareing a table with my sister and her small bussness. Some guildmembers these days know my on-line name, but I try to keep the carry-over either way minimal. ::chuckles::

Oh yes--King Harbor is, of course, attached to Redondo Beach, and the series pretends that Redondo Beach is part King Harbor, as well, and there's a lot of stuff filmed there.

Trippy. I've only been a little bit to the shopping/arcade part of that, on the southern end, but my family used to go to the Cheesecake Factory there, like, a LOT. Ooo-wee-ooo! :P
