I was going to whine

about my lack of sleep woes and the eleven phone calls between 6:45 and 10:30 but you've heard it all before.

And here it is on 12-8-09. It iced over, all beautifully rippled. Now it's snow-covered, but I've left before dawn and come home after sunset, so I'll have to wait until the weekend to get new pics.


The view to the right. You can now see more of the pond because the birch tree shed its leaves. The pond is shaped like a large backwards letter "C."

But I still want to hear about how you got eleven phone calls in 4 hours. And how many of them might have been people trying to tell you aluminum siding or carpet cleaning services.

They were all calls from my sister, subrosax, my WI friend, and my mom. Nothing too serious, but still, I was on the phone nonstop for hours, and I really had wanted to go to bed early. :(
