Me: I think that the A*Team is still fun because of Murdock, really. He kind of makes the show. And I'm really loving those episodes of...you know...that one show. With the brothers.
Husband: Which show?
Me: The brothers. Who are detectives. Rick and AJ?
Husband: Simon & Simon?
Me: Yeah, that one. Couldn't remember the name. But at least I made it easier for you to guess the name because I didn't confuse you by saying Shomleaf & Shna Shna.
Husband: Sometimes talking to you is like being in the middle of a James Joyce novel.

I have recently been catching some episodes of The A-Team because of my deep, intense love for Robert Vaughn. =) I have watched the episode where David McCallum (who co-starred on The Man from U.N.C.L.E. with Vaughn) guest-starred several times. There's even a blooper video on YouTube to that episode where the boys were cracking each other up----just like the old days. *Boys*!!

My love for Simon & Simon also runs deep. In fact, I just received Season 3 for Christmas! Season 4 will be out around my birthday so I'll get that too. Yay Rick and A.J!!! Mary Carver, who played their mother, Cecille, had a guest role on U.N.C.L.E. I am such a nerd that I actually squeed when I saw her----"That's Rick and A.J.'s mom!!!"

You have awesome taste in t.v. shows! (Of course I'm including your devotion to Riptide as well.)

I love the A*Team--even though it's cheesy sometimes, Murdock really makes it awesome. He's terrific.

And S&S is wonderful. So many of the eighties shows just do not hold up well for me--they are often maudlin or silly or just downright stupid, but S&S is a quality show and I'm quite impressed with it! I've watched a few eps on RTV and I'm just loving the writing, the dialogue, the characterizations, and the performances. A terrific show.

OMG, yes! I love S&S. And (I didn't know this until recently) those boys showed up in other series like Magnum PI, too. Canon crossovers FTW!

eee! They even ran for nine seasons. Jeepers. I used to love that show so much, but I watch it now and I'm even more lovey about it--it's really one of the better shows from its time.
