Woke up feeling sick. Sinusy, icky sick. It's gotten a little better but not totally great. boo.

Turns out I might have sent the wrong table of contents to the publisher for a friend's book. omg.

I set up a friend's business email so he could use gmail as his primary inbox, and through a stupid mistake on my part it sent 180 of his private business emails to one of his employees before I could stop it. OH MY GOD. I won't even get into how long it took just to get it to work in the first place, and it claimed not to be working, so I logged out and then got a frantic phone call from him ten minutes later because, well, WORKING TOO WELL AND STOP THE MAIL NOW.

I finally managed to wipe my external hard drive. I tried to do so last night, but it claimed it would take three hours, and three hours later it was still claiming it would take two hours. So I canceled it and did it this morning instead. It took longer than three hours, and then after it was done, I went to make a new backup using the new software I purchased, and I couldn't get past the Select Archive Location screen. The helpful message said to pick a name for a new backup, or select an old name for an incremental backup. Since this was a new backup, I picked a new name, which greyed out the Next button. Every. Single. Time. I tried every variation. I checked the help files. The feeling of being without a backup? Entirely without a backup? And unable to make a new backup? Yes, I did melt down, rather spectacularly. Eventually I sorted it out, but it took forever and made me crazy.

It took three and a half hours just to get one listing on Etsy. In fact, all of my Etsy listings today have taken too long. I can't seem to get my pictures to upload.

I was feeling good about my story this morning, but suddenly this afternoon I felt the rollercoaster take a giant roll downward and I looked at the 45,000 wordcount and felt this enormous panic, like I've turned this into some horrid bloated epic that is so bloated with bloat that it just doesn't work.

I was nearly done editing a batch of pics and Photoshop crashed on me, losing all of the work I'd done.

I host my eBay pictures on my website and once every month or so I go through and remove the old ones. I removed several and then thought, hmm, is this the right date? What's going on here? And then I realized that, no, that wasn't the right date and I'd just deleted a bunch of my current eBay pics and then I had to go through and figure out which ones they were so I could reupload them.

I told Husband all about my day in great detail and how awful it was. Then I sat down, wanting to drink some chai and chat and maybe look at the story again, and that was when I suddenly realized that some of my eBay pics weren't working, even the reloaded ones, and then I noticed that the number seemed wrong. I number all of my pics (stainedglass3, stainedglass4, mylittlepony32, etc.) and I recognized that one of the numbers was last week's number. And then I realized that I somehow never put the new pics in for this week's auctions. I've never done anything like that before and I had to go and edit all of the listings. There are two with bids and I have no idea what I'll do--I might just cancel them.

I think I could have handled one or two on the same day. But all? Holy cow. And I even feel like I've left some things out.
