I don't even know what they do in a physical! I'm such a doofus in these matters.

And yes, this office definitely has medical student trainees. In fact, last time I was there, one of them couldn't get a blood pressure cuff to work. :(

Ugh. I realize that students NEED to learn but it gets kind of annoying when they don't know how to do basic procedures. I really only expect to deal with student trainees when I go to a hospital/clinic that is specifically attached to a medical school (and usually you get some sort of discounted price because of that). If I'm paying "full price" I want a nurse. >:(

When I went to the "free" hospital for poor folks a few years ago, I got used to having 2 or 4 trainees sitting in on my examinations. Since it was "free" then I had no room to complain (and I got excellent medical care).

BTW, unless you are getting a pelvic exam, feel free to keep your panties on. But you'll still have to wear the dopey exam gown. If you are uncomfortable (like if they want you to walk out of the room for some reason), ask for a 2nd gown. You wear one around the back and one around the front. :)

*deep breath* Okay, I'm out the door! Thanks for the advice!

(And it's that time of the month so I am definitely keeping the panties on, lol.)

Hmmmm...looks like you may have missed my last comment. I wish you luck and you need to post an update later on. :)

It was okay, except I ended up getting a chest x-ray. Probably because I mentioned my occasional "heart-skips-a-beat" moments. And I have to back for bloodwork. I hate bloodwork. I mean, I don't mind the blood draw itself; it's just the dizziness and spacy feeling I get for the rest of the day or two after. :(
