Island of the Lone Sane Thought

See, the thing about bowing to perceived mediocrity is that there will almost always come that moment, that flash of inspiration and then you will create THE ONE thing, that masterpiece. Or failing that, I say create if it makes you happy. I am at best a mediocre painter. But painting makes me feel artsy, therefore I paint. If it gets to the point at which I just hate everything that I produce, and the scales of the process tip even or better to frustration rather than enjoyment, then I quit doing it. At least for a while.
