Running away briefly.

The show this weekend was not great, let me just say that. And it's even more aggravating because it involves eight days of "work", four of them driving. I'm down to the last two trips. Today I drive to WI, and tomorrow I drive home, and I'll be home until mid-November, which makes me very, very happy, because I'll be able to really concentrate on eBay, and I hear that the winter months are better than the summer.

The one good thing about the show:

I wrote two sections of chapter 72. I almost never ever get ahead of myself in writing, because I don't like to, but in this case I had a really strange thought and wanted to preserve it. Plus, it's only a chapter ahead of the next chapter, so it isn't that big a deal.

I am so tremendously excited to write the next two chapters. I think they'll be quite the challenge to write, and I'm really looking forward to seeing what I can do with them.

When you return...

Do you carry a laptop with youm when you write, or do you use the good ol' fashioned way, as well? What do you find easier. I find that it is easier for me with a laptop, because I can type almost as fast as I think.

I find it much easier to type than write, but I don't have a laptop (as of yet...I've been thinking about one!) so I usually write longhand in a rather shabby notebook. With sharpies. Ultra fine point sharpies. Anything else is...well...criminal. ;)
