I've uploaded it to Sycophant Hex and Fictionalley as well, but they take a little longer.
I am so tremendously excited. I did have to split the chapter up, it is at 8700 (with more to go). It makes a lot of sense to split it, though, because of a couple spikes in the narrative flow. I am so incredibly happy.
And I'm even happier that the next part is just about ready to go (just needs a final revision), and that part three is partially written (though it needs a bit of an overhaul). w00t!

Date: 2005-10-25 10:35 am (UTC)It's one of those chapters where everything went better than planned, and some crazy thing occurred to me in the middle of it, and it worked out beautifully. I'm so geeked!
Y'know, I try not to embarrass myself by getting too excited about this stuff, but it's one of the best chapters that I've written so far, I think.
And it's interesting...the cloak bit was planned all along, and then while I was writing I thought, well of course Lupin will notice, he knows Snape pretty well, and it doesn't fit her, and it's his basic black color. People seemed to really like that detail!
