Miscellaneous
Dec. 13th, 2005 09:37 pmI wrote a set of haiku poems with the theme of treachery for
lupin_snape. It was quite interesting and a bit of a challenge. It's not as dark as it sounds.

I am so sick now. At this point my throat is completely raw. I will have to go to the walk-in clinic tomorrow, which sucks, because I have no insurance. I can't avoid it though. I've already taken two days off work. *growls in unhappiness* It's the weirdest sickness, too. It's sinus drainage + very sore throat & some coughing. My usual sickness is all that plus incredible congestion, with my nose stuffed up. But my nose isn't stuffed up at all. In fact, I can smell everything. Normally I don't have much of a sense of smell, and this is driving me crazy. When we went to see Narnia I was almost overwhelmed because I could smell everyone around me. I don't know how you people with a normal sense of smell deal with it.

So much fic this month, I'm scrabbling to catch up in my reading.

I hope I will be able to write a bit tomorrow. I've really wanted to write for the past two weeks, but it didn't work out, except for the haiku poetry. I reread the last few chapters of tLS and hope to get some new words down tomorrow, if I'm still capable of processing thought.
And I'm so happy with the new aspects of FictionAlley. I'll be uploading the corrected versions of chapters 1-15 soon.

Did anyone else notice that the White Witch was wearing Aslan's ruff in the last battle scene? Cool touch. The melting crown of ice was very nice too.
I hated her dreadlocks, though. And I hated her bowl-of-soup odd neckline for her dress.
I thought that Aslan was very well done. I also loved the wolves, and when they talked, it really was well-integrated, I thought. The beavers...they were okay.
I liked the White Witch's wand, even though it reminded me of a snow globe, but perhaps that was the point.
The polar bears rawked, as did Mr. Hawt Centaur With Two Swords. I wouldn't mind a spin off...Centaur from Heaven...heh.
I'm just rambling. It's the theraflu. G'night, all...
