I was crafting tonight...
Dec. 23rd, 2005 10:41 pm...so I was actually watching a bit of TV. Haven't watched a lot in the last year...due to LJ. *grins*
Anyway, I used to craft a lot, and I used to watch a lot of the same movies over and over again on the once-fabulous VCR. Now that there is a tape stuck inside of it (argh! must get fixed), I end up watching cable. Normally I can't find much, but I realized that there are a few movies that I watch anytime they're on cable and nothing else is on. They are not movies that I would ever purchase. Ever. But I find myself listening to them and occasionally looking up at interesting noises.
Do you guys find yourselves leaving movies like that on in the background? And do you prefer bad action films as well, or something more exotic?

- Any Sean Connery James Bond movie.
- Those Tomb Raider movies.
- Any Jean Claude Van Damme movie.
- Road House.
- Harry Potter. (of course.)
- Chuck Norris, every once in a while.

Date: 2005-12-24 04:19 am (UTC)I find that I like to have stuff like that on in the background.
And even if I'm purposely watching that movie just to watch it I find that my attention span requires several breaks. Such as the one I'm on now, to read LJ, whilst watching Batman Begins Mwahahahaha :D
xoxoxo Merry Christmas dear!

Date: 2005-12-24 04:23 am (UTC)Heh. I thought I was the only one who did that. Steven Segall movies in particular. I have no idea why. I don't particularly find him attractive or appealing, and he's certainly not a good actor, but if there's nothing else on, I'll inevitably leave those playing in the background.

Date: 2005-12-24 04:34 am (UTC)It almost doesn't matter what kind of show/movie it is, although I do seem to gravitate to repeats of CSI. Probably because I've seen all the episodes so many times I don't need to look at the tv to know what is going on.

And looking up whenever Warrick is on screen is quite rewarding. ;)

Date: 2005-12-24 04:06 pm (UTC)I love fashion shows too. And I'm also a fan of E! True Hollywood Story at the moment as well. So much drama!

Date: 2005-12-24 04:44 pm (UTC)I'm pretty into What Not to Wear and How do I Look?
Occasionally I get lured into Alton, or something on the History Channel. I am not into nature documentaries unless they're about octopuses.
