Yes, it's that time again. Once again, I find myself overextended on the flist.

If I could friend everyone, and read everything, I would. Absolutely. Unfortunately, I don't have that much time. And I'm starting to get ready for the busy part of the year, when I'll be working quite a bit.

pen_and_umbra once said that a flist is a Work In Progress, and I agree. Our tastes change on a regular basis, after all, and sometimes we just aren't clicking with people we once clicked with.

I don't use filters. I read every entry on my flist that's from a personal journal. I can see that, while I have been able to keep up with it so far, in another month or two it would be overwhelming.

I'll be defriending over the next few days. I hate writing these posts, and I'm always sad when I see other people posting something similar. But it's part of the LJ experience. It's nothing personal.

I apologize in advance, and I hope this doesn't cause any inconvenience.
