valis2I am leaving on my annual AZ business trip. I will miss you all very much. LJ is a big part of my life, and I really enjoy interacting with all of you.
This is the hardest part...turning off the computer and knowing I won't see a smiling icon for a month!

Date: 2006-02-18 12:48 am (UTC)Dear Hubbie came down with a touch of the flu. Came the day to head out to the show, I was starting to feel the early symptoms myself. Decided that the sanest action would be to kiss the show goodbye rather than risk trying to make the 3-day, 1500 mile driving marathon. Yes, I'll miss the income from doing one of my biggest shows of the year. On the other hand, my life is worth more than trying to face homicidal drivers when I'm feeling less than 100% alert and functional.
I spent several days in bed, feeling under the weather but not to the point of sheer misery. Am pretty much back to normal now.
Meanwhile, I'll simply try to book into a few extra shows this summer to make up for the shortage in income. You know the story... LOL... ah, the life of an arts&craft merchant. *g*
