Could you walk in there? I imagine that one has to be very careful for all the sea urchins that are in the water...

There are only sea urchins in the very deepest tide pools...the ones that always have water in them. So you could walk in most of them. Most just contained fish or crabs.

All these pictures are just so gorgeous! The lot of them in all the posts. Hawaii really is like a paradise, and that parts of it are so dry only serves to set off the lushness. And your photos really took well. Nice job. Very nice. *sigh*

Aw, thanks! I had such a great time taking the pictures, honestly. I'm glad a few turned out well. I took about 150 or so.

My friend took a lot of super-great photos, and I hope to snag a few and put them up as well.

My roommate has family in Hawaii and she spent Christmas/New Years there. The pictures she took from her trip was AMAZING. I can't imagine getting to live in a place like that.
