Went to the doctor.

He said I have facial cellulitis, which he thinks might be from a tooth abcess, because I am experiencing a wee bit of tooth pain and swelling on one side.

I forgot entirely to tell him about my eye troubles, and I think it's the leftover eye infection making itself known.

He prescribed amoxicillin, 500mg, 3 times a day.

I thought nothing of it until a friend gasped and told me that it was overkill, that for his recent bout of pneumonia he took 200mg twice a day.

Anyone else think it's too much? Now I'm all paranoid.

ETA: Okay, sounds like the right prescription, no problem here.

I don't know much about amoxicillin except it's a pretty powerful anti-biotic. But I just wanted to stop in, give you a hug, and say I hope you feel better. I'm thinking of you! ♥
