Unusual rec

If you want to read a great, funny short story (and also this fits in with my recent musings on jeans and being a big girl), run over to BBW (Big Beautiful Witch). It's by anguis_1 and it's on porkish_pixies. It's Bulstrode/Crabbe, but don't let that hinder you...this is pure gold. Rating is PG-13.

Summary: Vince has never claimed to be the brightest light in the chandelier, but once he gets an idea in his mind, he hangs onto it like a hippogriff with a nice, juicy ferret. Unfortunately, he’s always had difficulty expressing himself.

Snape robe up for grabs

I went to a costume shop this week, attempting to find things for my Prophecy costume. It's been a challenge, let me tell you.

Anyway, I think the owner is trying to sell her store. She's also having a huge "garage sale" to get rid of a lot of extra stuff.

I nearly died when I found some sort of black religious? academic? robe that screams "Snape." Seriously. It was only $8, so I picked it up.

Of course, I have no intention of dressing as Snape...er...ever. So anyone who wants it, let's talk. ETA: Taken! Pics are under the cut.
