My journal is called "Island of the Lone Sane Thought" because most of what I say is neurotic, paranoid, or in some way skewed. I think if you look hard at all of the entries you may find one thought that you would classify in your own way as sane.
My subtitle is "Bornino" because...well, this would be way too complicated to explain, so I won't bother, because it's not very interesting either. Maybe I should change it.
My friends page is called "Friends" because I just assumed that I'm the only one who goes there.
My username is "valis2" because valis was already taken. Valis is either the name for a popular video game/manga she-warrior of the nineties, or the name of the protagonist of Philip K Dick's vast artificial life intelligence system. Take your pick.
My default userpic is a lovely lion face from a monument to firefighters. Underneath each of the four lion's face is written a single word; it spells out "Gone but not Forgotten" and is quite stirring. I love lions in sculpture/art because of a trip to Venice. Soon enough I'll have my scanner, and I'll try to get a few new icons going.
