Florida, part two: Animals

My sister took this picture of Tigger on a motorcycle.



She also took these pictures of a manatee.



Mmm! Lettuce!



And she took a great photo of a fox. This was at a park. Hommosassa Springs, I think.



I had fun taking pics of the owls. None of them would deliver a message for me, though. They were on their mouse break.



I can't remember what this is. It's a bird of prey, though. A kestrel (supplied by artystone, thanks!).



Some flamingos and a disabled pelican. Most of the pelicans in this park were missing a wing.



Cute tortoise.



I love how this pic turned out. I've been thinking about opening a CafePress store and putting some photos on bags and notebooks and stuff. I'd love this on a notebook.



And that's Florida.

I used to see manatees all the time when I lived in Florida. Mothers manatees and babies too. They are such gentle creatures.

The winter is the best time to go to Florida. Any other time, it's unbearable.

Aw, manatees are awesome. I wanted to swim with them and tickle their fins. hee!

Yeah, we were very happy with the weather. It was quite nice, without being too hot.
