It's already begun.

Someone is on an old comm, posting a possible spoiler about DH.

Of course I read the title of the post, as I do with every post, and after I realized what it was...it was too late.

DAMN DAMN DAMN. If it turns out to be the truth I will be much angrier at having been spoiled than the truth itself.

This is why I put my old comms on moderated status, to avoid such nonsense. Damn. I am trying to convince my mind that this person really doesn't know, la la la, but grrr!

I have avoided everything successfully up until this. I am just fuming...I know that makes me sound like a drama llama, but jeebus, that sucked!

I am astonished. The mod came out of the woodwork about a week ago to say something about using cuts for spoilers; I just assumed they'd put it under moderated status as well, but obviously not. Argh!

I am trying to pretend I haven't seen it. If I really distract myself I hope it works.

No, no drama llama. It takes a certain amount of dedication to avoid spoilers, and to have to ruined by some asshole ticks me off, too.

Yeah, I would have thought everyone put their comms on moderation, considering how much trouble the fandom has had with trolls posting spoilers in the past.

I'm not going to take it as the truth until I read it in the book. And considering that the troll's primary goal is to stir everyone up and cause wank, it's likely they were just posting what they thought to tick everyone off in that comm. I wouldn't doubt they don't have variations of that username for every single character and are posting everywhere.

I was really lucky last time. I was out-of-town for part of it, and fortunately absurdwords and aerynstales watched over my comm for me.

And considering that the troll's primary goal is to stir everyone up and cause wank, it's likely they were just posting what they thought to tick everyone off in that comm. I wouldn't doubt they don't have variations of that username for every single character and are posting everywhere.

*nodnod* Yes, that really makes sense. And I am very much hoping that it's just a trollish thing. I just don't want to know before I read it! heh.
