I just pimped tLS to someone (ha, I know, I'm pathetic that way) looking for SS/OFC new-teacher-at-Hogwarts fics.

The response went something like this: Too dark, and ewwww, she dated an old guy.

Too dark--that I can understand completely. But the ewww cracked me up! The old guy is barely referenced, and only in one character's monologue--there isn't even a flashback to it.

I'm totally loling here.

LMAO Because dating someone older is just so gross. I think wizards probably have more may-decembers than we do, mainly because they live longer and you can't always tell who's old and who's not. Plus, I'm sure there are all kinds of appearance charms to change things around. heh heh

I totally think that there's no issue with May-December in the wizarding world--though Lupin obviously has issues with it, lol.

Honestly, I never ever thought it would be an issue! Lots of women have dalliances with older men; I can understand why, when you see one of those silver foxes, y'know. And power is a terrific aphrodisiac, of course. ;)
