Surprised valis

I just pimped tLS to someone (ha, I know, I'm pathetic that way) looking for SS/OFC new-teacher-at-Hogwarts fics.

The response went something like this: Too dark, and ewwww, she dated an old guy.

Too dark--that I can understand completely. But the ewww cracked me up! The old guy is barely referenced, and only in one character's monologue--there isn't even a flashback to it.

I'm totally loling here.

What's up with TLS lately?

I have the next chapter started, but right now I'm insanely busy; I'll be gone for the rest of the month, right into September, so I won't be able to finish it until I get back. But I'm really excited to start writing again; I put it on the back-burner because of DH, but now I'm back into happy thought mode, and I can't wait to finish it. This winter should be a pretty good time for me to write, especially November and December.
