A decent day.
Sep. 9th, 2007 11:25 pmI waaay overslept yesterday, so I made myself get up earlier this morning, so I wouldn't have another headache all day.
Have sorted out 95% of the merch I just bought, and am reasonably pleased. I kept just a little for myself to work with, but the rest is going right out into my bins for sale.
Also, I got into a show. A show I really wanted to get into. The promoter is crazy, though, because I have not received anything saying that I'm in the show--I had to call, and the woman who runs it responded (very matter-of-factly), "I don't call you unless you're not in the show." Er, okay, but surely you must realize that's lunacy in action.
Anyway, I'm tired, but mostly satisfied. I'm going in to work tomorrow even though I'm not scheduled, and then Tuesday is a See How Many Stores I Can Call And Not Reach The Owner day, and then Wednesday and Thursday I work, and then I have four days off to dance around. I'm going to see if I can buy a mannequin. Er, for eBay purposes, of course.
Also, the spell-checker has suggested I replace matter-of-factly with matter-of-fatly, which rather amuses me.

Date: 2007-09-10 11:51 am (UTC)I think you need to change spell-checker. I've never heard of matter-of-fatly. Did it provide a definition?

Date: 2007-09-11 02:47 am (UTC)And the spell-checker for Semagic has always been suspect. It never seems to understand any contracted words, like "shouldn't" and "won't". Ugh.
