I must mention Five Small Victories for Professor Remus J. Lupin bymagnetic_pole...it's Snupin, rated G (very G, in fact), and it's sly, wonderful, and heartwarming. Just the thing for a warm Fall evening.

Warm? Try bloody hot! It's September 25th. We hit a high of humidex around 37C (about 99F) -- imagine what my small classroom was like, with its windowed wall, 27 kids and no cross ventilation! -- and tonight it's dropping to a mere 20C (about 68F), which is the usual high for this time of year. Five years ago, I had the heat turned on by now.

And Bush and Harper don't believe in global warming????
