I thought for sure that we were back when we still lived in Michigan...I wanted to vend. Now, I'm no so sure if we will or not. I'd like to, but I don't know whether J will want me to use vacation time to vend at a HP event when we could be going to hot springs or to NOLA...

I doubt it. If I do, I won't bother registering, as I only go to these things to socialize and have no interest in any of the programming.

So far, I'm torn--I'd like to visit Chicago and wander through the Art Institute and take architecture tours, but the weather at that time of year will be absolutely horrid.

If I decide to go, it probably won't be until the last minute. At least Chicago's one of the easiest places in the US to get to.

I dunno... On one hand, it's within driving distance - on another though - I don't know if I'll have enough in the vacation kitty to actually justify the expense - two tickets, hotel room, food and all that other good stuff for five days. Plus there's the added joy of trying to wrangle vacation time off for that many consecutive days off.

I wanna go, but Toronto pretty much killed my budget.
