My stance on holiday cards
Nov. 8th, 2007 11:28 pmI'm laughing that I even have a stance, honestly, but I do.
I don't send them out.
Sorry.
Never have.
Probably never will.
Don't feel bad if you don't receive one from me, lol. I know you're all just sighing in relief now.

Date: 2007-11-09 04:54 pm (UTC)And we have all these artist/illustrator friends who always send out these kick @ss cards and its a little bit like a kick in the pants. groan.
I do love them and tend to collect handmade cards all year. But can never get my crap together to actually send them out!

Date: 2007-11-09 08:28 pm (UTC)If I ever sent out regular holiday cards, it would be a simple case of Happy Holidays over and over again, and I just don't want to do that. I am conscious of the waste, and I think I'd rather give the $20 to charity. It sounds awful, honestly, like I don't value my friends, but they already know how I feel without getting another piece of paper at holiday-time.
