I'm a little sad about the audio, though--it's horrible. There's a lot of vibration that makes it almost impossible for me to understand what they're saying (I have a little bit of hearing damage, so I'm only catching about two-thirds of the spoken portions).
I think I'm going to have to run the DVD player directly to the TV for this set. Going through my receiver is obviously more than it can handle, lol.
Well, aside from your audio issues, I take beef with the fact that GH production still feels it necessary to pipe spooky effect music in during the crucial scenes where we're supposed to be listening for real paranormal sounds. It's ridiculous.
Oh, don't even get me started about the stupid effect music! That makes me insane!
I've rerouted the sound through my TV speakers--it's better, but only marginally so. I'm almost tempted to not bother watching any further, because it's so hard to understand what they're saying. I mean, the show is hard to hear, but I can usually make most of it out--but the DVDs are almost unbelievably bad. I'm thinking it's poor quality plus system meant for stereo Dolby stuff.
