So this morning I dreamt that I was Dumbledore. Er, well, first I was valis and I was showing
subrosax the wonder of Detroit, but then I turned into Dumbledore and she became Draco Malfoy.
Anyway, Draco brought me Snape, who was completely catatonic and covered over in this green, swirling mist. Draco was petrified--he was certain that his father was coming to get them and that it would be bad. He didn't want Snape to fall into Lucius's clutches again.
So we went to my safehouse, which was a very fun, interesting modern building--I think it's based on a building I've seen in Waukesha--and then we went to the upper floor. I kept roller-skating around, and I suggested that Draco do so as well, but Draco was absolutely terrified about staying in one place too long. Finally I explained that of course Lucius was going to find us there--that was the whole point. Draco looked horrified--he accused me of not caring about Snape--but I did care about Snape, as he was excellent bait. Snape just stayed slumped in a chair, his mouth open, the green mist rising and falling over him.
Just to make it look better, I touched the locks of the door to the upper level, even though I knew that this would do nothing but slow Lucius down, but it would make Draco feel better and it wouldn't raise Lucius's suspicions. There was a bank of payphones there for some reason, and I did something to those, too. Magic was ridiculously easy; I barely needed a wand, and could cast the strongest of locking charms with the touch of a finger.
Lucius and Narcissa showed up and came in; they were very angry at Draco, but when they saw me they hesitated. "I don't like it when people hide their faces," I said, and with a wave of my hand their Polyjuice disguises fell away.
Lucius was quite displeased, but he wanted Snape so badly that he kept himself in check. Draco was a wreck at this point, and I felt sorry for him--I wanted to tell him exactly what was going to happen, and how Lucius would be thwarted, but to do so would give away my carefully constructed endgame.
Then I woke up.
My robes were fabulous, btw.

Date: 2007-12-17 05:22 pm (UTC)They're rarely interesting enough for me to share, though--too often they're just boring for anyone except me. This one was the exception.
And I do often find that scary dreams often mess me up for the day--happy dreams make me happy for the day. heh.

"Lucius was quite displeased, but he wanted Snape so badly that he kept himself in check." I'm getting visions of Lucius planning to force snape into a corset once he gets him back to the Manor, or worse

Date: 2007-12-20 12:01 pm (UTC)I've only managed to have three of them, total. This one was crack!tastic, but I had another that was really harrowing, which I eventually turned into a dark Snupin story (http://valis2.livejournal.com/286001.html).
