I ran around Target and practiced my consumerism. Bought a pink shirt. It looks like a t-shirt, though it's a little nicer than most, and reads St. Tropez.

May I just mention that I would really like it if they stopped making every interesting shirt that is available in a plus size sparkly? I'm big...I don't need to sparkle, too. *sigh*

They have Unscented Aromatherapy Oil. Yep.

Happy Birthday [livejournal.com profile] mariannelee! I enjoyed chatting with you the other day.

I really want to write. Really. I want to finish this chapter.

Can't wait to get a scanner this week...new icons will be forthcoming. Woo and hoo.

Semagic is the best thing Evah. Really. I have figured out how to monitor the flist...it shows who has added me, who has deleted me, and helps to keep track of birthdays. Very cool. If you do not have Semagic, I would greatly recommend it. It is a program that acts as an intermediary between you and LJ. You log into the Semagic program, and you can work on your entries, and save drafts for later. I love it. I have three entries on the backburner right now. And it has lots of wonderful options. It makes it very easy to do cuts, italics, and to add usernames & communities to your entries...if I want to reference someone, I pull down the list and add them. It's lovely. And it's free! You can download it the XP version here or check out more here. Did I mention it's free? And did I mention that I haven't lost an entry since I started using it? It saves your draft automatically every sixty seconds (you can change the interval if you like) and it is one of the nicest little programs I've seen. So yeah!

Interesting. I wonder if I can use it at work where LJ is blocked. Maybe I can fiddle with it to evade Fucking "websense".

Did you open the Unscented oil and take a whiff? I would have.

At offices they usually have a server that can tell from where everything originated, and they can look at the packets as they enter and exit the system. Semagic still operates through the LJ system, so it would be seen, and probably subjected to a lengthy interrogation process, and afterwards it would be only a sad shell of its former glory, content to wallow in misery, drinking shots of RAM and shouting at the bytes to shut up.

The oil in question was sealed rather thoroughly.

Bugger.
Well it's not like I have the time, what with doing my freelance stuff on their time too.

Printers are so very, very practical and helpful...I got the printer first, myself. The scanner is more of a fun thing for me. Though artists like yourself might treasure the scanner first.

Semagic, eh?

I am tempted, but (touch wood!), LochJournal is being a good little bunny at present. Will keep this in mind though.

Thank you! It was a really nice birthday. I got a box of sugar free chocolates! They actually taste so good, I was feeling guilty until I remembered they were sugar free.

Sinful, and sugar-free? Sounds like a match made in heaven.
