Well. Back to reality.
Jun. 30th, 2008 12:40 pmIt was fun. I planned the wedding to be a backyard wedding and I sidestepped a lot of bridal traditions along the way. I had Polish caterers, a civil ceremony, and an off-the-rack not wedding dress from Igigi. I rented some tents, bought a few paper decorations, and thanks to
gypsyjolie and her fantastic sisters, the backyard looked great.
And now I look at the eBay stuff to ship, Etsy stuff to list, and eBay store to restock, and I think, aha, back to Earth. After all, if I don't work for a week because I'm driving around buying decorations and toasting glasses, no one is going to say, hey, here's some vacation pay. So I need to get back on the ball and start working--harder than ever. Plus, I need to work on the next set of wedding tasks; the name change stuff, thank you notes, and sending off those last checks.
Thank you, warm and wonderful flist, for your amazingly sweet and fantastic well-wishing. I'm still glowing like a glowing thing. You are all so wonderful and I appreciate it so very much. *giant hugs*
